- The variable annuity suite for Transamerica Life Insurance Co. has several new investment options.
- The funds are also available as designated investment options for Transamerica’s recently upgraded Retirement Income Choice living benefit rider, and the Double Enhanced Death Benefit.
- “These additions to our popular investment option lineup provide more depth and attractive supporting selections to the asset allocation portfolios,” said Dave Paulsen, executive vice president and national sales manager at Transamerica Capital. “We are pleased to provide several diverse choices to our variable annuity solutions for financial professionals and their clients.”
- * AllianceBernstein Balanced Wealth Strategy Portfolio Class B, which seeks to achieve the highest total return consistent with reasonable risk. The portfolio is designed for investors who seek a moderate tilt toward equity returns without regard to taxes. Investors who also desire diversification offered by debt securities, with broad diversification of equity risk across styles, capitalization ranges and geographic regions may consider the fund.
- * Franklin Templeton VIP Founding Funds Allocation Fund Class 4, which seeks long-term growth of capital and income through price appreciation of the securities in the portfolio and by investing in income-producing securities.
- * Transamerica Efficient Markets VP Service Class, which is comprised of up to six Dimensional Fund Advisors equity funds and up to four Vanguard exchange traded funds – a unique combination first introduced to the marketplace in November 2008. Managed by AEGON USA Investment Management, the fund aims to allocate 65% equity/35% fixed income.
- * Huntington VA Balanced Fund, which is available on Transamerica’s Huntington Landmark variable annuity, is a fund of funds comprised of Huntington VA funds. This subaccount represents another investment choice for clients who purchase Huntington Landmark.
